After weeks of 95 to 100 degree weather, it started raining today and has really cooled things down. Not serious rain, but enough to break the heat wave, but really it won't put much of a dent in the drought. There have been a lot of fires in the area from the heat, in fact Shamwari had some of the biggest, Shamwari the animal reserve about 15 minutes from here.
good that it's raining- sorry it's not enough to break the drought- how have the animals fared in the fire?
