This weekend at Kasouga, just south of Port Alfred.

Spent the weekend and Monty and Sarah Roodt's home in Kasouga. They are longtime friends of Paddy Donnelly and are the same people who have a most beautiful home in Bathhurst. The beach home is about a quarter of a mile from the Indian ocean with a lagoon nearby. (Pictures, hopefully, to come) I also met Ford and Ronelle Evanson. Ford is an American from Washington, who met Ronelle in Cape Town and has settled in this area. The picture, above, is from their home down the road from Monty and Sarah's. Ford has a sister who lives in East Hampton in the Springs and he has stayed at the Panoramic in Montauk. I was stunned by how similar the view from his deck toward the ocean resembled the view from the Panoramic.
