(Grahamstown) My flight from Cape Town to PE was excellent, although I was really sad to leave AJ. My car was waiting for me and it took me and a group of prep boys to the Journalism School at Rhodes, which is great!!!. About an hour and a half from PE. Grahamstown is a small college town, where everyone seems to know everyone. I met the chairman of the department who took me over to his home for lunch, where I met his wife also on the faculty. It seems like a very informal set up, which is nice. They all go to work in shorts jeans or sweatshirs. Maybe because its still summer vacation, but I understand it's always like this. The people I met leave very normal lives, I can tell already, and that is just great. I also met Guy Berger, the well known man who founded the School. One of the people then took me over to my apartment which is huge. And more important I'm steps away from a Pic and Pay and little student shopping mall. Movie house, Wimpy's Pic and Pay etc. I am trying to set up internet at my house, but it's not so easy, but I think I'll be able to do it. Tomorrow I meet and have lunch with my co teacher and the chairman and then we're off, although school only begins in three weeks.
I'm please to be here early. This place is a great college type town.
