OK, I'm besotted....

A beautiful, blue sky day here in Grahamstown today. I am now on a search for a camera as my iphone camera isn't working and I want to capture the last month here for the future. Sometimes there is a smell here of the land, it is from burning wood, similar the fall smell in New York of burning leaves, which I don't think we do anymore. It's a great smell. I went up to the Journalism school, and looked in at the students who are working on their final projects. They are supposed to be done with their projects on Monday. I was talking to one of the students about how beautiful the township is at sunset from the hill where the Settlers Monument is. The sun hits it in such an early evening warmth. I was struck by that picture of Zandwijk and trying to think how I could take a picture like that for my blog or for a picture when I go to Cape Town. Planning to do that in July...still haven't firmed it up. I need to capture some of these scenes on a camera. TEMPUS FUGIT
